Students seeking admission in Honours Course in any subject as specified in the prospectus and admission form must have 40% marks in the subject concerned in the H.S. Examination irrespective of Division. Fees already paid for taking admission in Honours Course are Non-refundable.

Automatic promotion of students in the next higher part is restricted to students getting failed in more than three subjects. Students shall be allowed to carry as backlog of maximum of three subjects in particular year including backlog in terms of aggregate requirement as per University rule.

Students passing 2nd Semester & 4th Semester examinations from any other college seeking admission, may be allowed to take admission in the college subject to prior obtaining permission from Assam University and subject to availability of seats.
