Since inception, the college is catering to the need of economically backward, SC/ST/OBC/ and minority students of the region. It has been observed that the examination results of the above category students are not satisfactory. There is an urgent need for extra coaching of these academically backward and disadvantaged students. In this endeavour, the college is trying with utmost sincerity to uplift the academic excellence and quality enhancement of these communities by providing Remedial Coaching for SC/ST/OBC/Minority students (belonging to Degree classes only) under U.G.C. College Development (Merged) Scheme. Students belonging to the above categories can avail of the benefits of the scheme.
