The library at present has a collection of about 19638 books in different forms and languages including those in oriental languages like Bengali, Assamese, Manipuri, Hindi, etc.

The General Collection of the library now stands at 17686 along with 1952 Ready Reference Titles including Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Biographies, Educational Philosophies, and Research Methodology.

Beside printed forms, the library has also initiated to build its collection in electronic forms like CDs, DVDs, Online Resources, etc. The library at present subscribes to about 30 Periodicals and 07 Newspapers (both local and national).

Besides this, the library also maintains separate collections on North-East, Religion, Literary Works, Bound Question Papers, Bound Back-Volumes of Journals, Library Science, Book Bank, Research Projects, etc. Also a separate Collection on “Women Studies” has been initiated in the library on the demand of the Women’s Cell of the College.
