Libraries play an eloquent role in higher education. Libraries and higher education are intimately and necessarily inter-related as a library is essential for any academic institution According to the implications of the Laws of Library Science as given by Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, the father of Library Science, it is said that every information/document is of some use to someone; every user should be able to find his required information without much time and that the library is like a growing organism with continuous growth. And it is also a very important job of the library to create awareness about the library and to elucidate the users about the vast resources in the field of Library and Information Sciences, which can help them tremendously in finding whatever information they may be in need of, or to supplement their knowledge. Hence an attempt is being made here to introduce the library of the college, so that readers can use the library in an effective manner and to familiarize them with the services and tools of the library, the reading material within and outside the library walls, the ways of retrieving them and accessing them. Hope it will be useful! Users are encouraged to contact the Library staff via email if they have a query. We will reply usually within 24 hours. If the question involves in-depth research assistance, the user is encouraged to converse with the Librarian on 03842-222764 or rmclibrary@gmail.com |
